New Player Model
Mood:  caffeinated

As you can see from the picture at left, I've created a spiffy new player model that looks more civilian-y than our previous desert camo model.

Hopefully our uber-graphics team can further increase the spifftacularity of the new model, with other angles and, of course, shading.

Graphics
Mood:  lazy
Howdy,

I'm the graphics fella around here. I do charecter models, objects, etc. Mostly anything aside from animation is my job. As I'm not quite the greatest artist to grace Microsoft Paint, I'm in the process of teaching myself better shading techniques (Or any shading techniques, for that matter) and am in the process of attempting to locate a better program with which to create sprites.

We've switched the focus of the original idea for our second game, and hopefully I'll have some graphics started for that before too long. Any new updates will be thrown on the RSG webpage, and hopefully Jake will step off the soap box and give me some webmaster privillages.

First Entry
Mood:  a-ok
This is it - the official blog for Red Star Games.

RSG's a small game 'company' that's already made one game and is working on a second. Our official site is http://www.redstargames.com. On it you'll find our first game, Red Freeze, along with a description too lengthy to put here.

I'm Jake, the programmer, designer, and webmaster for RSG. The others are Josh and David, who do graphics, and Jake O., who writes music and finds sounds for our projects. (We'll all be posting under the name rsgonline.)

Hopefully you'll enjoy this blog, and any games RSG might produce...
